Wildlife & Waterfalls

We will take you to Tasmania's very first National Park this morning. The diversity and view here will blow you away (sometimes literally)! We will start with a drive into the Alpine area at Mt Wellington and through historic South Hobart and New Norfolk to Mt Field. A gentle bushwalk to Lady Baron falls starts a trip through the Tall Trees and to Horseshoe Falls and Russell Falls. Lunch is at the waterfall cafe at the Visitor Centre. This afternoon you can watch the Tasmanian Devils and other unique Tassie animals at Bonorong Wildlife Park before returning home.

Discovering the forests of Tasmania.

In the morning we travel though the scenic Derwent Valley and learn more about the Oast houses and how that tasty beer is made. We then visit the famous Mt Field National Park and the Tall Trees walk, beautiful natural scenery and great short walks! See the tallest hardwood trees in the world and marvel at Tasmania's most famous waterfall, Russel Falls. After lunch at the park we visit those cute Tassie Devils and other critters at the wildlife park. Enjoy 2 hours learning about and interacting with the unique animals. Its then on to the magnificent Mt Wellington for breathtaking views of Hobart and surrounds.
